AI tools

The AI Tools page is for extracting terminology from a Word (.docx) or PDF file and adding them to a Staging Area for validation and post-editing.

This page is only available to named users via:

  1. Administration → Terminology → AI Tools

Licensing

To use the AI Tools, the AI features license needs to enabled on the License page and the AI server configured via the AI settings page.

If these are not configured correctly, a yellow warning label showing "AI integration disabled" will appear in the top of the AI Tools page.

Running Term Extraction

Select which Dictionary to run extraction from.

Select the source language for the file you are extracting from.

Select which Staging area to add the new Concepts/Terms to. You can choose the option to create a new Staging Area to add the extracted concepts/terms to.

When everything is configured, the Extra terms button will be available. Clicking this button will start the process.

Completed extractions

Under the "Completed extractions" menu you will find a log of all term extraction processes. Click "Finish" to remove a finished term extraction from the logs.
