File repository

The File repository page shows the current list of files available in the TermWeb client. The File repository is available via:

  1. Administration → Terminology → File repository

Administrators will be able to view all files while normal users will only see files with the visibility settings set for their access purposes.

Visibility

  1. All available - Shows all available files.

  2. All users and guests - Will show all files available to named users and guests.

  3. All users - Will only be available to named users. Guest users will not be able to see the file in Concept View.

  4. Dictionary users - Files restricted to specific dictionaries. You can use this feature to hide files from non-Administrator users by creating an empty termbase and attaching files with the Dictionary users visibility.

Virus scan

All files are scanned for viruses during upload. Files that have been scanned will show a green checkbox icon next to their name.

Export all files in repository to zip file

Exports all available files in a single zip-file. Can be used in conjunction with the Import files from a zip file feature to transfer files to another TermWeb client or as a backup.

Import files from a zip file

Imports all files in a zip-file. Used for batch import of files.

Use the "Visible to" feature to set the default visibility for all files uploaded using the "Imports all files in a zip-file" feature.
